Hydro-Carolinas Marketing, Inc. was originally established in 1979 as "Ron Hunt and Associates" by Ron Hunt of High Point, NC. Ron's extensive background in pipe, valves and fittings established the company in the industry as an agency known for experience, knowledge and outstanding customer service.

Dan Hunt joined the company in 1986, bringing his experience in residential and commercial construction and customer service to the company. In 1990, Allen Scott joined the company bringing wholesale plumbing and representative sales experience. The company headquarters moved to Charlotte, NC in 1994.

By 1997, Ron decided to retire and Dan and Allen purchased the company. In 1999, the name was changed to Hydro-Carolinas Marketing, Inc. Jimmy Tate was added to the team in 2007, bringing additional sales and customer service to the company.

In the summer of 2007, Hydro-Carolinas Marketing merged with Heritage Sales LLC of Sumter, SC. Len Thomason is now a principal of Hydro-Carolinas Marketing. Amanda Dover will maintain a sales office in SC.

The company operations are headquartered in a 15,000 square foot warehouse located in Charlotte, NC.
